Golnar is a Dungeons & Dragons character of mine that I only got to play one time, and while technically the campaign finished, it was a prequel campaign that we never got to play the sequel for. She is beloved to me. She is my baby. They are my child. They are a self-insert that got way out of hand and is now their own thing. I made a custom sub-class for her, and play-tested it and everything.
Golnar is, unfortunately for them, beloved by Death. Death gazed upon her as a baby and Loved her. She has a deep hole over her heart, which beats despite what should be a mortal wound. Though she lives, she knows that when she dies, she will be taken to be with Death forever, disallowed to enter the cycle of afterlife and reincarnation with all other souls.
